First encounter with a bigger footbike, the Vella 20x20. We unboxed our BMX, put on hydraulic rim brakes and discs and off we went.

Láďa Bartůněk: ,,After a few meetings about Kick France 2013, there was a suggestion if I wanted to try racing. And so I went with Tomas Pelc and Honza Vlasek in a miniature car with footbikes inside to the legendary Rollo League in Moravská Třebová. Honza lent me Manfred and I took the front wheel from my road bike. No training, zero style on the downhill, cruel back pain after finishing, but it all evened out on the ride from the finish back to the start against the direction of the route. About 26km."

The end of the season to celebrate the successful completion of Kick France. One-day stage race in Šumava, where we provided complete racing and results service.

The first edition of the road stage race from the pen of Zdeněk Černý and the Bez Pedálů team. 5 stages, cramps, crashes, victory of the Ultima team and a lot of experience under the supervision of Hannu Vierikk himself.

And hooray for racing. Right away we head across the border to Eurocup and after a long winning hegemony of foreign relay teams from Finland and Holland we win the relay with Tomáš Pelc, Michal Kulka and Ladislav Bartůněk. The Czech relay became unbeatable for the next 2 years.

A clear goal for the season. 9 training sessions a week, 6th place in sprint, 4th place with relay "B", burnt lungs in criterium and wet cold in long race. We are also filming a clip of the whole World Championships.

The first crossing of the republic in a new guise. Some broken shoulder blade right at the beginning (Milan Jelinek), high heart rates (Karel Krchňák), testing the possibilities. Another event that became the colour of the following years. Lada Bartůněk leads a peloton around Brandýs and rides a total of 75km. In the next installment we will also show up as support.

And we're also hosting a round of Rollo League right now. Criterium on the inline trail in Houštka and a long race from Skorkov. This is also the beginning of the party that accompanies all our events.

At the end of the season we are going to the first European Cross Country Championships in Germany. The departure is accompanied by long debates and testing what to ride. In the end we choose variously modified 28x20 gravels. The winning streak of the Pelc, Kulka, Bartůněk relay continues. In the solo race, however, Peter Groeneveld, a generation or two older, on a carbon tubeless 26x26 of his own manufacture, will do it all.

The testing of the cross-country possibilities continues and in the 60-minute relay Lada Bartůněk and Mark Kadlec win on a 26x26 prototype with a mud fork, on a road frame.

Not to get out of practice, we are going with the Kick France group to the legendary Paris-Roubaix race. Some 260km in total, including 50km on the cobbles. Lada Bartůněk as a rider, Honza Bartůněk as a service escort. In total 15 drivers and 5 accompanying cars.

Slowly we start to turn our off-road ideas into reality and Lada Bartůněk starts on 60km with another 26x26 prototype.

As part of the meeting with the partners of the KickFrance project, we also participate in the cycling end of the season in Jeseník - Last kilometer.

We are trying our best on scooters and so we start at Kbely cyclocross with Michal Kulka, Tomáš Pelc and Láďa Bartůněk. We choose different footbikes than at the European Championships in Germany and again we collect mainly knowledge.

And somehow it worked out, we opened a stoneshop - footbikeshop in Brandýs nad Labem.

Less than 100 footbikers are coming to the season opener. We divide into several groups and set off along the surrounding roads with the destination at a local pub.

And again something new, a five-hour race, in a team with Lojza Onderka and we take the victory in the relay at 130km.

We race wherever we can, in the first year of the road cup, 7th place overall. It shows the potential of footbike racing as another discipline within running events.

And the terrain again. Láďa Bartůněk sets off with Milan Jelínek and Karel Krchňák on the trail of Guido Pfeiffermann on route B - 120km and 3500m of elevation gain.

Lada Bartůněk wins the first year of the cross cup overall, in some races starts Honza, the winner of the home Houštka bikemarathon.

In order to learn about the characteristics of footbikes, we build a test bench for frame deflection. For further development quite useful tool. 100kg racing rider loads the frame up to 250kg during sprint. And does he or doesn't he?

Just as the 100th Tour de France was ridden on a footbike, a similar group rode the 100th Giro d'Italia. More riders, more work, a custom build in the van, and other gadgets from our provenance.

Every year we elevate and organize the Eurocup. The friendly environment of the Labe Arena Račice with its unrivalled facilities once again attracted foreign competitors to the Czech Republic.

At the last moment, Lada gets on the way to climb the cycling Singlé, albeit without a confirmation stamp. However, he doesn't go for those and in the company of self-propelled fluctuant Milan Čtvrtník, one recumbent and one tricyclist, he once again gains more experience on the French roads.

The first year of the spring warm-up, one year there, one year back.

Zdeněk Hercík came up with an idea and so 8 of us set out to measure our strength on footbikes with cyclists in a 2222km relay race across the republic.

Although the race is for 24 hours, it is more like an accompaniment and with its own training plan. I rode about 200km, gaining experience and soaking up the atmosphere of another race.

In preparation for the European Championships we are organizing a camp in Račice. Technique, body and machine setup, all with the facilities of the Labe Arena.

10 days, 10 stages, 1300km across the country, to support children with cancer. The first footbiker on the complete route.

The selected company Milan Jelínek, Michal Kulka, Tomáš Pelc and Láďa Bartůněk is testing the possibilities of the Livigno area for further use. We are trying Mortirolo, Stelvio, Gavia and other fun things in the area.
